This week: How to Make a Sands Cocktail
The Sands cocktail is an excellent example of a unique, yet balanced, cocktail. The maraschino liqueur is balanced out by two different types of citrus, then perfectly rounded out with a nice, london dry gin. This drink is fairly new, originating in 2006 at a bar called, Milk and Honey, which has seen a large part in the resurgence of the craft cocktail scene. Take one sip of this drink and you’ll understand why people got back on the bandwagon.
