A unique addition to Philly’s zero-proof bar scene, Bar Palmina boasts an entire menu of sober-friendly options with the intimate vibe of your favorite lounge. Try their twist on a classic Penicillin with N/A scotch, ginger, honey, and yuzu. Or, go savory with the A.G., Palmina’s take on a dirty martini with N/A gin, dry vermouth, olive, and black pepper. They even offer 16-oz take-home options of their pre-mixed cocktails so you can take the vibes home.

If you’re looking for a booze-free buzz, make your way to Old City Kava Company and try one of their herbaceous concoctions. Go classic mocktail and get their Lemongrass Paloma with pink grapefruit, guava, and lime. Or, try something a little off the wall with the Old Citywide, a double kava brew with a shot of kratom.

While you may not think of Herman’s when you think of cocktails, you should! They quietly carry one of Philly’s largest collections of zero-proof wines, spirits, and mocktails for retail. They’ll also whip you up something from their drink menu, like the Winter Spritz with cran-raspberry syrup, cinnamon bitters, and bubbles. Be sure to swing by Fridays and Saturdays after 6 PM for Herman’s After Dark, featuring candlelit table service, an expanded cocktail/mocktail menu, and light bites.

If you’re looking for a mocktail as bold as Ember & Ash’s live fire kitchen, try their Korean spice margarita made with mandarin, gochujang, ginger, barley, and lime. They also serve highly rated dealcoholized wines from Leitz Eins-Zwei Zero. Offerings include a Riesling with a citrus nose and crisp minerality, as well as their sparkling rosé, with fine bubbles and a dry finish.

Keep Dry January extra cozy at Bar Hygge. Keep an eye out for rotating Best Day Brewing non-alcoholic beers, or try the Murder on the Dancefloor, made with Seedlip Notas de Agave, Ghia Aperitif, blood orange, basil, and lime. A long-standing Philadelphia staple, Monk’s is known for their Bible-thick beer list and knowledgeable staff. Recently, they’ve been dabbling in adding some zero-proof picks to their list, including the Bitburger Drive alcohol-free pilsner, so you can still enjoy an ice-cold pint with your pot of steamed mussels and pomme frites.
