Evil Genius Beer Company Launches at Opening Tap
The Evil Genius Beer Company, a new Chester Country Micro Brewery is set to debut this Friday night at Opening Tap. The official opening to Philly Beer Week, Opening Tap featuring “The Hammer of Glory”, the Philly Beer Week version of the Olympic Torch is used to crack open the first cask of beer, by Mayor Nutter. Over 30 regional breweries are taking part, including Evil Genius Beer Company.
“We’re really excited to have the public taste our beer,” says Luke Bowen, co-founder of Evil Genius. “Our flagship product Wild Session Ale is a German style Ale with a taste that really any type of beer drinker can enjoy.” With a distinct flavor that gives a hint of caramel, and a smooth hop finish, Wild Session Ale is a beer that’s getting rave reviews around the city.
“The feedback we’ve been getting has been great,” says Trevor Hayward, co-founder of Evil Genius. “People keep asking when we’re going to launch the company. We’re still a few weeks out from having beer in bars, but we decided that there was no better place to do it than Philly Beer Week.”
Come and visit Evil Genius at Opening Tap on Friday, June 4th from 7:30 to 10pm at the Independence Hall Conference Center. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased (presale necessary) at www.phillybeerweek.org. Feel free to contact Luke or Trevor at info@evilgeniusbeer.com.
We wish you the best of luck guys.
Cheers.
