Coors Introduces Two Stage Cold Detection "Technology"
Sometimes we understandably get angry when we realize that we’re living in the year 2011 and we still don’t have flying cars or robot butlers. Occasionally though, there are breakthroughs in science and technology that give us hope. No, we’re not talking about iPads or modern cancer treatments; we’re talking about the hard science of Cold Detection Technology here.
Frankly, we don’t know what we would do without the fine people at Coors Brewing Company. They came to the realization that their beer, when consumed at temperatures below 34°F, tastes at best like bad carbonated water from a rusty tin can. While some people may not have a problem with this, Coors took initiative and pulled out all the stops to make it as easy as possible to drink their beer without being forced to taste it.
Following in the footsteps of other non-thermometer temperature detection breakthroughs, Coors has gone beyond blue mountains and introduced a "really really really really cold indicator." This new level of cold detection paired with the already popular Wide Mouth Can will enable Coors consumers to get the beer past their taste buds before they have time to realize how terrible it is! Who needs flying cars anyway?
