Le Mixeur: Sharky, A Benefit for Autism

We're joining an international campaign for autism awareness, as well as celebratring the beauty of childhood and the works of J.D. Salinger... all the while serving you delicious drinks.  

Ted Munat is the author of Left Coast Libations, and creator of Le Mixeur, hosting a series of events aimed at bringing the joy of cocktails to the masses. But he is also the father of a nine-year-old boy named Sharky, who was diagnosed with autism in 2006. 

Using the collection "Nine Stories" by J.D. Salinger, who spent much of his life trying to capture the many complex expressions of childhood, we will offer a series of cocktails especially crafted for the evening. 

Nine of Portland's finest bartenders will be taking shifts behind the bar, mixing up these cocktails, throwing their support behind a dear friend, his son, and their cause.
