The group’s fine dining eatery
The ChopHouse in Camden County’s Gibbsboro is celebrating its standout menu and specialty tequila selection with a one-night-only, five-course meal pairing. Crafted by The ChopHouse’s longstanding Executive Chef Markese Beverly, the meal takes guests on a tasting of five varieties of
Roca Patrón tequila with appetizers, entrees, and even a dessert to match. Beverly guides diners through a menu designed to capture the flavors of Roca Patrón’s world famous tequilas with the use of spice, citrus, and fresh ingredients.
The five courses are as follows:
First Course
Shrimp and scallop ceviche with jalapeno and lime, paired with Roca Patrón Silver
Second Course
Compressed melon and cured ham with figs and a sherry gastrique, paired with Roca Patrón Reposado
Third Course
Braised short ribs and whipped Yukon gold potatoes, paired with a PJW Barrel Select Patrón Reposado
Fourth Course
Chili lobster and blistered tomatoes with saffron rice, paired with Roca Patrón Anjeo
Fifth Course
Flourless chocolate espresso cake, paired with Patrón XO Café
The highlight of the evening-- among other things-- is the PJW Select Reposado, a single barrel, golden variety of tequila aged special for the P.J.W. Restaurant Group. Reservations for the dinner, which costs $60 for all five courses and tequila, excluding gratuity, are recommended and can be made via phone at The ChopHouse.
