Cape May Brewing Co. Teams up With Annual Beach Plum Farm Fall Festival

Fall festivals come but once a year, unless you’re from Cape May. This quaint beach town loves autumn so much that they return their annual Beach Plum Farm Fall Festival through the entire month of October, with beers on tap that will have guests singing for the season.

Owned and operated by Cape Resorts, Beach Plum Farm provides the company’s Cape May hotels and bars-- including Congress Hall, The Blue Pig Tavern, and The Virginia-- with fresh produce and farm fresh eggs year-round. And, for the fourth year in a row, the farm is celebrating a successful Shore season with a month-long festival. Held every Saturday in October from 11 AM–5 PM, the festival gives guests a look into the life of the farm, with pig roasts, caramel apples, and s’mores.

This year, Cape May Brewing Company joins in the fun, serving up seasonal beers every week brewed for the occasion. That could include their newest beer, Harvest Seasonal Ale, a saison infused with Merlot-- which serves as a playful nod to Cape May’s many well-known wineries.

Along with the beers of the season, the festival will also have a hayride across the 62-acre farm, pumpkin picking and decorating, birdhouse painting, and specialty events happening each week for families. Each week also features a Farm-to-Kids class, designed to teach kids about produce and farm life. With something new happening every weekend-- and new Cape May brews popping up all the time-- you’ve got your weekends all planned until November.
