Iron Hill Gets in the Spirit of March Madness with Beer and Bacon Brackets
During this year’s friendly competition, each of Iron Hill’s 11 locations in the tri-state area will concoct their own bacon dish for the running, including Bacon Poutine at the West Chester location, Bacon Wrapped Hot Wings out of Maple Shade, Soy-Braised Pig Ears in Ardmore, Gruyere and Applewood-Smoked Bacon Fondue in Voorhees and Bacon-Stuffed Pork Porchetta from Chestnut Hill. These dishes will only be available from Thursday, March 19–Sunday, March 22, so get to your favorite Iron Hill and cast your bacon ballot.
And each location will offer a special variation of the bacon menu throughout March Madness. Visitors can share their favorites and create the competition using #BaconMadness on social media. Guests can also use that hashtag to see what others are picking as their favorites.
The event coincides with the release of Iron Hill’s newest beers, each available at various locations across the area. The Ultimate Warrior IPA, which debuts March 20, and Rising Sun, an IPA brewed with Sorachi Ace hops, premiering March 27, are both of out of the Voorhees, NJ location. Meanwhile, the Media location taps the Black IPA on March 27, the same day as the Lancaster spot will tap Saskia, a Gose wheat beer collab with Columbia Kettle Works that won the brewery’s annual homebrew contest.
