Try Wine from Around the World at the DO AC Boardwalk Wine Promenade, Sept. 27-28

Try Wine from Around the World at the DO AC Boardwalk Wine Promenade, Sept. 27-28

With the summer crowds gone and the Miss America madness finally clearing off the Atlantic City boardwalk, local restaurateurs and wineries are hitting the boards for a promenade of their own. The DO AC Boardwalk Wine Promenade sweeps into town, bringing with it award-winning wines and accompanying food pairings that are sure to impress.

Sponsored by Food & Wine magazine, guests will have the opportunity to taste more than 100 varieties of wine from across the planet, all available at your fingertips right on the Atlantic City boardwalk. Award-winning bottles span the globe, with red, white, sparkling and champagne from wineries like:

Moet
Ferrari-Carano Vineyards
Castello Banfi Wines
Chateau St. Michelle Wine Estates

Alongside astounding bottles that are hard to find in your average eatery, you can try food from some of Atlantic City’s most prestigious chefs. Check out culinary pairings from local restaurants including:

Fin
Il Mulino
Guy Fieri’s Chophouse
Harry’s Oyster Bar
Robert’s Steakhouse

While the event starts at noon, VIP tickets, ranging from $70-85 depending on the day, get you early access at 11 AM, so you can taste your way through more varieties without battling what is expected to be a full house. VIP tickets also get you sipping lessons with Food & Wine Senior Wine Editor Megan Krigbaum alongside Leslie Sbrocco through the event’s “Insider Track” course. Regular priced tickets range from $55-65, again depending on the day you attend, and are available here.
