Things Are Getting Peachy in Denver Cocktail Glasses

Sorry, not sorry, Georgia

True Prunus persica fans know that the best peaches are found on the Western Slope of Colorado (sorry, not sorry, Georgia) and fall is when they show up in Denver. The city’s best bartenders can’t wait to get their hands on these sweet fruits and create some tasty fall cocktails. Here are some peachy keen drinks you can find around town.

Peach Bellini
Enjoy this classic cocktail with a peach twist at Wazee Supper Club downtown. The concoction is made with Korbel Brut Champagne and fresh peach puree. Simple and delicious.

Boozy Peaches and Cream
Not exactly a cocktail, we just can’t pass up this decadent dish at Max’s Wine Dive. Enjoy this classic dessert that uses fresh, slightly roasted peaches served with a spiced shortbread topped with peach and lemon thyme gelato, cream, and a Tin Cup Whiskey sauce.

Colorado Peach
At both ViewHouse locations, guests can enjoy some sweetly invigorating adult ice tea featuring Peach Street Distiller’s Goat Vodka and DeKuyper Peachtree Liqueur. The bar adds just a bit of simple syrup, fresh brewed ice tea, and a squeeze of lemon for a taste of summer that blends nicely into fall.

Harvest Moon
In the Highlands, enjoy fall at Linger with a Harvest Moon featuring gin, Lillet, Colorado’s own Leopold Bros Peach Whiskey, and bitters. The drink is served over a block of ice in a double old-fashioned glass with lemon zest.

James and the Giant Peach
At the newly opened Carbon Beverage Café, the bar has created a fanciful peach drink with an inspiring name. James and the Giant Peach features a house-made shrub of Palisade Peaches with a dose of Mile High Rum, brandy, and triple sec. The mélange is mixed with fresh-squeezed orange juice, pomegranate juice, and topped with Prosecco. The taste is fun, bubbly, and peachy.

Lambic Sangria
At Stout Street Social, the bar is mixing peaches and beer. The Lambic Sangria features Lindemans Peche Lambic, tequila, fresh Palisade Peaches, and some citrus for a refreshing beer cocktail. Enjoy on the patio during mild fall days.

Peach Margarita
At Marlowe’s on the 16th Street Mall, guests can enjoy the Peach Margarita made with Margaritaville Tequila, sweet and sour, peach schnapps, and housemade peach nectar. This drink was made for sitting on the patio on a crisp fall afternoon.

Royal Hutch Punch
At Punch Bowl Social on Broadway, the bar is serving up peaches in a punch bowl. Enjoy Bacardi 8-year rum, St. Germain, lime juice, white tea, and Fee Brothers Peach Bitters for a late summer fruity drink.
